The Legend of Maula Jatt

In 2022, Bilal Lashari will direct and write the action drama The Legend of Maula Jatt in the Punjabi language of Pakistan. The 1979 Lollywood classic movie Maula Jatt was adapted for this project. under the production label of Lashari Films and Encyclomedia, Ammara Hikmat and Dr. Asad Jamil Khan produced the work. [5] [6] It is based on Nasir Adeeb's fictional people and stories. Along with Hamza Ali Abbasi, Humaima Malik, and Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan plays the title role in the movie. [7] In the movie, Noori Natt, the head of a vicious clan, is faced up against local folk hero Maula Jatt, who is Noori Natt's archenemy. Director Bilal Lashari revealed in December 2013 that a Maula Jatt remake was in the works. He had even finished a written treatment.

The film opens with Jeeva Natt with his clan, launching an attack on Haveli of Sardar Jatt. Despite being larger in number, they are overpowered and Sardar Jatt and his wife are killed. Maula, the son of Sardar Jatt and the sole survivor of the attack, is raised by a woman named Daani. One day Mooda, the actual son of Daani, takes Maula to his coach, who teaches wrestling. Mooda’s coach gets impressed by Maula and agrees on teaching him.
